What are your personal core values?

First let me define what values actually are...

Your values are the things that you believe are important in the way you live and work. They determine your priorities, and, deep down, they're probably the measures you use to tell if your life is turning out the way you want it to.

Finding what your core values are is a great step to living your best life. When you define your values it means you can create meaningful goals, take meaningful action, create meaningful change, and experience growth. This was something I learned from my own coach in a wonderful coaching program I took. One week was focused on core values and it was an eye opening week.

Some examples of core values are:

-connection

-love

-security

-growth

-family

-authenticity

-loyalty

creativity

-finances

-courage

-assertiveness

These are just a few among many more. Spend your time and energy on things that align with your core values. Your values can also change over time, as your circumstances change. Having personal values will guide you.

Deep fulfillment comes when you are living in alignment with your values, so take some time to sit with yourself and write out what is most important to you, to find what your core values are!
